Condition:

The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc., an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's: This work is in excellent condition. The panel is flat and shows no signs of abrasion or instability. The paint layer is stable. A few tiny retouches addressing frame abrasion can be seen in all four corners when the work is viewed under ultraviolet light. A few tiny spots of retouching have been applied to small blemishes in the lower sky. One retouching can be seen in the water in the center of the painting. Framed Dimensions: 11 1/4 by 19 in. (28.6 by 48.3 cm.)
